A Downtown Guide: Plan Your LoveOly Itinerary!

LoveOly runs from May 24 - May 31

The Olympia Downtown Alliance created the Love Oly Shop & Dine Week in 2020 to bring more business to restaurants and shops during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Following the success of the Love Oly event last September, and the Love Oly Shop & Dine campaign during Downtown for the Holidays, Love Oly is back this Spring! Love Oly runs May 24 through May 31, 2021.

Customers may pick up a "Passport" from participating businesses or access and print one from the Alliance website. During the week of the promotion, when a customer purchases an item valued at $10 or more from a participating business, a “Love Oly” sticker will be affixed to their “Passport.” Once the customer has 5 stickers affixed to the “Passport,” they can redeem it for their choice of a “Love Oly” mug, drawstring backpack, or bottle opener. They will also be entered to win gift certificates to participating businesses. To date, over 70 downtown businesses are registered to participate in the week-long event.

Here's a suggested itinerary for planning a day downtown and filling up your Passport to redeem for a LoveOly gift! Remember that LoveOly runs from May 24 - May 31 so you have time to spread out your purchases and visits to downtown businesses!

Sticker #1: Start the day with brunch on the patio and fresh fare from Octapas Cafe.

Sticker #2: Head to do some browsing for a gift (for a friend or yourself) from Childhood's End Gallery, Browsers Bookshop, Drees or Belleza Ropa Clothing and Shoes.

Sticker #3: It's time to refuel after all your shopping! Stop into Dancing Goats Coffee Bar for a cup of joe and a snack or purchase one of their blends to brew at home!

Sticker #4: It's close to Happy Hour so why not pop in and try one of Chelsea Farms Oyster Bar's Happy Hour specials, or for friendly conversation and a toast at The Brotherhood Lounge, Well 80 Brewhouse or Three Magnets Brewing Co.

Sticker #5: Your passport is almost complete! How about something to enjoy at home, like a custom spice blend from Buck's Spice Shop to create the perfect meal at home, some tea or chocolate from Encore Teas + Encore Chocolates and Sweets or some frozen custard from Juju's Iced Cream & Frozen Custard.
