Olympia’s vintage and antique shopping scene is just as unique as our city itself. No matter your style, you are sure to find a treasure at one of downtown Olympia’s many, many unique and eclectic vintage and antique shops. Just a walk downtown could bring you to your next great find — maybe a unique piece of jewelry, a vintage band poster, kitchen item or a one-of-a-kind piece of furniture for your home. 

Located on 4th Avenue, Courtyard Antiques boasts two floors of merchandise featuring Western Washington’s finest antique and home décor dealers. Mary Corso started the business 15 years ago after retiring from her job as State Fire Marshall. The store now has 48 separate dealer spaces and takes furniture consignments.

“One of my favorite parts of running this business is the people I get to meet,” says Corso. “People come in as strangers and leave as friends.”

Corso started the Antique Vintage Association, an organization that supports all of the antique stores within a 20-minute radius, 19 of which are located right in downtown Olympia. “I really wanted a cooperation, not a competition with other antique businesses,” says Corso. “This group allows us all to work together and let everyone know there are so many options for antique shopping downtown.”

The Estate Store

The Estate Store is owned and operated by Senior Services for South Sound and its mission is to generate income to support seniors in need by soliciting and accepting donated goods for sale. Folks throughout the community donate quality furniture, housewares and art to The Estate Store where it is sold to the public.
