March 8 was International Women’s Day; why not celebrate by laughing with Ladies of Laughter (LOL), featuring some of the funniest women in comedy today. These hilarious women have been chosen by audiences and entertainment industry executives at comedy clubs nationwide through the LOL Contest. As the biggest platform for women in comedy, LOL has served as a launching pad for many extraordinary women. Tickets Here Love hearing people’s stories? Come to StoryOly Olympia’s premiere Story Slam event, the third Tuesday of every month. Community members come together every month to share, compete and tell true stories based on a monthly theme. StoryOly aims to encourage and develop community engagement and connection through the medium of storytelling. The monthly theme of March’s event is “Overcome.” Come listen to some stories, or perhaps share one of your own!
